Empowering communities

We’re here to support community led climate action.

By building a network and connecting people, places, and the planet, we aim to create a thriving, sustainable North East Scotland. This in turn will enable communities to take part in shaping and delivering a fair and just transition.

As the shift to net zero will impact people and places differently, so too will the solutions differ. We help communities become empowered and climate-ready through tailored, meaningful support. We give 1:1 tailored support, produce a range of resources, and hold free learning, awareness-raising, training, and networking events. We also enable our  communities to share their thoughts, ideas, and plans with those taking decisions that directly affect them and our planet.

Dedicated 1:1 Support, Peer Learning & Purpose-Driven Networking 

We offer more than shared resources and vibrant networking! You can benefit from dedicated, tailored 1:1 advice, peer-to-peer learning, and signposting to other support services provided by our brilliant partners. Everything we do is designed to empower you to make a real difference.

We work with stakeholders, our members, and the wider community to push forward climate action priorities and a just transition in the North East of Scotland, enabling your voices to be heard and count in the decision-making that affects you and the planet.

Funding Your Project

We provide direct funding to kickstart small projects via our SEED & LEAF funds and work with fantastic partners to administer and bring larger direct funding, such as from the JTPB Fund. We can also signpost you to other funding opportunities so get started now.

Our Sustainable North East

We bring together diverse people and viewpoints – especially those often overlooked – and highlight their stories and successes. 

Through a wide range of video and written case studies, created in collaboration with our community members and partners, we aim to inspire action, enable peer learning, and support replication. These stories aren’t just about what’s been achieved – they’re shared so you can learn, adapt, and build on what works.
